Invocation at Aurora City Hall

August 22, 2017 by CJ Counts 1 Comment

I was pleased to discover that our local government has a ritual of prayer and the pledge of allegiance to the flag by one nation under God before each city council meeting. I was honored to be asked to provide this invocation, and enthusiastic to discover that I could praise the name of Jesus when I met the Mayor and the rest of the city council members.

Pastor, It’s so easy to see and feel, as I listened to these opening prayers that you were definitely feeling The Holy Ghost as you prayed.

In addition you are a remarkable example of using every single opportunity to do missionary work.

    Thank you !!
