Where did the different races come from?

October 12, 2019 by CJ Counts Leave a Comment

If we all descended from Adam and Eve, where did the different races come from?
The term race is an evolutionary term. The only race mentioned in the Bible is the human race (Malachi 2:10, Acts 17:26). We have no idea what color the skin of Adam and/or Eve was. However, if a white and black couple were to have a child, then that child’s offspring could be any white, brown or black shade found on earth. As far as physical traits are concerned, following the separation of people at the Tower of Babel, groups spread out and bred within that group for a few thousand years. Mutations and adaptations in a particular group’s gene pool resulted in various traits associated with that particular group.
