Aurora Community Of Faith
What if every church in our city would unite toward a common goal? Can you imagine the impact we could have?
What if we all rallied together for the same thing at the same time, regardless of denominational affiliations and with no concern for who’s church would grow? It would be unprecedented? That is how revivals are started!
ACOF is a division of the Neighborhood Services City Municipal Center that exists to connect the city government with the faith organizations in Aurora.
Pastor C.J. is the Outreach Chairman of the Board of directors.
Many Christians have opposed participating in interfaith organizations like ACOF because they do not want to engage with members of another faith. It is our conviction that if there is a department of our city that has any influence at all, then we should stack the deck with Christians!
We have never had to compromise our values to engage in this ministry. We will never do anything that stands in contrast to the doctrines we believe in to participate in this ministry.
These meetings are a great way to network with other leaders in our community and to engage with what is happening in our city.
If you believe that you are called to ministry in a city, and that your church is not your calling, but instead it is a tool to be used for your calling (the city), then ministries like this are a great way to get plugged in.
When & Where
ACOF meets once per month on the Third Thursday. The meeting is usually at the Aurora City Building or the Central Library.
There is always a guest presenting some sort of local services or programs that benefit our city and our ministries.
These meetings are always a great networking opportunity.
To see exactly where our next meeting will be held, go to the calendar at the link below and look at the next Third Thursday of the month to see the details.

ACOF for Aurora
As the Outreach Chairman, Pastor C.J. has the pleasure of leading any community service initiatives and being a part of any local city events. If Aurora is doing an event, ACOF wants to be there to represent Gods love to those in attendance through service.
Most recently, Pastor C.J. helped to launch Gap Services to save the lives of our homeless residents during winter weather when it is fatally cold. You can learn more about Gap Services at the link below.
