Loving Leaders
We want to love on those who are leading in our city. We realize that leaders will tend to pour into other people and projects so much that they can find themselves exhausted if they are not careful.
We want to help you as a leader to lead well.
While we may have a number of helpful resources for leaders to draw upon to make them the best leaders they can be, this Cohort is really more designed to help fight against burn out.
What we do
This is not a seminar. This is not a class. It is not a leadership development small group.
Rather, it is a casual and social networking event that exists to fill you up, give you rest, and resource you with tools and ideas that may encourage the work you are doing.
We will focus on the following
- Your own personal care
- Family care
- Investing in your leadership skills with resources and opportunities
- Networking
Here is the problem
Many leaders are faced with the problem that the feel like they do not have enough time for self care or an investment in their own personal growth plan.
So for this to work, you have to budget the time! You have to make this a priority!
If you burn out, you will fail those who follow your lead. If you are exhausted, you will have nothing to give those whom you serve. And that is how people under you get hurt!
Taking care of yourself, and investing in your own personal growth is not selfish, and it is worth you making the time! Because if you do not, you will fail as a leader. If you do make this a priority, you will on the way to being the best leader you can be!
Who is this for?
Anybody leading or aspiring to lead in any context in any organization.
This is not just for church leaders, though we do expect there to be a lot of leaders from various churches of various backgrounds.
We do not care where you are from, what you believe, who you represent, or where you are in your leadership pathway. You are invited to this Cohort!
We do believe that spiritual care is a huge part of leadership development, and we are not apologetic in claiming Jesus Christ as our Lord. Therefore, this Cohort will approach how we love on you and invest in you from a Bible thumping Jesus freaks perspective.

We do it this way rather then posting a calendar because we do a number of events at varying times outside of our regular monthly cohort meeting. Also, this helps us to get an idea of how many people to expect, so we can resource acordingly.
